The President of Puntland, Syed Abdullahi Deni said that he is aware of the impact and concern of the people on the tensions in the city of Garowe as a result of the control of his administration and the opposition groups.
President Deni said that the security situation has been greatly exaggerated, he said that people have been incited by false information that has been spread on social media, and he said that he is concerned about the problems they have caused.
Deni said that the people of Puntland stood up for the situation to be settled. He said that he is ready to reach an agreement and resolve all disputes through dialogue and peace.
President Deni said that if the election is not successful now, it will be difficult to hold it later, pointing out that the trust of the community is dying.
