The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, who is attending the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City in the United States of America, held meetings with some of the leaders participating in the meeting.

Prime Minister Hamse had a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the conference.

The meeting between the two officials was focused on how to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the governments of Somalia and the United States.

Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre also met the Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen Hassen, who is one of the leaders participating in the General Assembly meeting.

The two leaders were said to have discussed strengthening the relationship between the two neighboring countries and how to further strengthen the cooperation between the two governments of Somalia and Ethiopia.

Finally, the Prime Minister of Somalia, Xmase Abdi Barre, is scheduled to hold other meetings with the leaders participating in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America.
