The Minister of Defense of the Kenyan government, Adan Barre Duale, said in a public forum in the Masalani area of the Kenyan autonomous region that the Kenyan government has made a decision to end Al-Shabaab fighting in the country.
Minister Duale has called on the people living in the North East region to work with the government forces to end the Al-Shabaab attacks in Kenya.
“Wars and terrorist violence need to be fought together. We are determined to end the presence in the North East region. We must all work together to fight terrorism to end it,” said the Minister of Defense. Kenya Adan Barre Duale.
He added that Minister Duale said that the Kenyan government forces are ready to fight the Al-Shabaab group, but they need the cooperation and support of the people.
The statement of the Minister of Defense of Kenya comes at the same time as the Al-Shabaab group has increased its attacks in the North Eastern region of Kenya.
