The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, who was speaking today at a training event for 3,000 new teachers recently adopted by the government of Somalia, said that his government has succeeded in hiring the largest number of young people.
The teachers who started training today at the General Kahiye Police Training School are set to start work in September this year.
He pointed out to the Prime Minister that his government has succeeded in employing 23 thousand Somali citizens in less than a year.
Prime Minister Hamse said that Education plays an important role in the development of the country, especially in the fields of security and economy. He urged the new teachers to produce good and quality students.
“Adding 3,000 teachers to the government’s budget was a difficult matter. Within a year, the Danish government has managed to hire 23,000 Somalis, including 20,000 soldiers who will take over security from ATMIS by the end of 2024 and 3,000 teachers. said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
Hamse Abdi Barre praised the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Higher Education, for the importance it gives to improving the quality of education in the country, he urged them to strengthen their important efforts.
