The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived last night in Ankara, Turkey, to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Erdogan.
The President of Somalia is part of a delegation from 78 countries that have been invited to attend the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President Erdogan.
The inauguration ceremony at the Presidential Palace will be attended by 21 Presidents, 13 Prime Ministers, as well as representatives at the Parliament and Ministerial level, and representatives from international organizations including, NATO, the United Nations The European Union and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Erdogan won the repeat presidential election last Sunday, receiving 52.18% of the votes cast.
The opposition candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu received 47.82%, according to the final results released by the country’s election commission.
