The Ethiopian Parliament has removed the TPLF party from the list of terrorists in the Tigray region.

The House of People’s Representatives of Ethiopia decided by a majority vote to remove the TPLF group from the list of Terrorists, which was added by the Ethiopian government during the war in Northern Ethiopia.

Although there was a long debate in the Ethiopian Parliament on the issue of removing the TPLF from the terrorist list, finally an additional vote was approved to remove the TPLF from the terrorist list. government-run only, and other independents are not allowed to participate.

The issue of the removal of TPLF terrorism was part of the agreement reached by the Ethiopian government and the TPLF in South Africa and Kenya, which ended the deadly war that has been going on for more than two years in the Tigray region.

This decision was welcomed in the Tigray region, as the regional authorities described this decision as a good step taken by the government.

The Ethiopian government still lists terrorists in the Oromo Liberation Front of OLA, known by the government as SHANE, which is engaged in an armed conflict with the Ethiopian government.
