The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, has highly praised the security forces operating in the capital city of Mogadishu for ensuring the security of the capital.

Hamse Abdi Barre described it as regrettable that officials in the country are tarnishing the image of security in Mogadishu, noting that it is currently very good.

“I commend the security forces who are ensuring the security of citizens, and we apologize for the inappropriate statements made by officials in this country. The forces have ensured and ensured the security of the 20 districts of Mogadishu, and tonight we feel a peaceful breeze, and we should thank them and not make inappropriate statements,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.

Prime Minister Hamse also said that security in Mogadishu is currently at its highest level, and the security forces are praised for the steps they are taking to ensure the overall security of the capital.

“A minister who was absent from the country for 10 days returned to the city and when his car was stopped, he was told where the car had been for 10 days. This proves the level of alertness of the security forces, both men and women, who are standing by day and night to ensure that we sleep in peace,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Hamse thanked the President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, for his prominent role in the establishment of a Somali state.

“Djibouti did the most appropriate thing for us, as you know, they brought together people who were at odds with each other and could not see each other, and when they saw each other and were divided, they brought together 2000 people and held a long meeting and spent time on it, and what came out of that was the most appropriate thing,” said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.

The gratitude of the Somali Prime Minister to the President of Djibouti and the people of his country comes as yesterday, the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Somali state was commemorated in the city of Arta, Djibouti.
