The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia approved the agreement between Somalia and China at its meeting on Thursday.
The agreements approved today by the Council of Ministers are related to the implementation of the World Development Initiative, and an agreement on cooperation and cooperation between the countries of Somalia and Qatar.
The Council meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, was also presented with reports on the progress of the National Transformation Plan (NTP 2025 – 2029) and the East African Community.
The Council of Ministers also heard a report from the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation in Somalia, which reported on the country’s production and the situation of Somali farmers.
Finally, the Council of Ministers meeting did not discuss the decisions made last night by the National Consultative Council meeting regarding the one-year extension period made for the heads of regional governments in the country.
