Some of the Bajaj motorcycle drivers who work in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, have welcomed the decision of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of the Federal Government to reduce the price of the license and the fine.
Some of the Bajaj motorcycle drivers who spoke to the media said that they are grateful to the Ministry of Transport for responding to their complaints about the price of the license that they protested for two consecutive days.
“We are very grateful to the Ministry of Transport, because they responded to the request of the motorists and reduced the license fee to 106.5 dollars, while the license fee was 300 dollars. Also, the fine of 50 dollars was reduced to 5 dollars. We thank the Ministry of Transport” said one of the Bajaj motorcycle drivers in Mogadishu.
The youths also said that they are satisfied to work in their country, but if the government puts pressure on the jobs they have, it may cause many young people who are happy with their jobs in the country to migrate to the country.
Finally, the Bajaj motorcycle is the most widely used job for Somali youth living in the whole country, because there is a situation of unemployment in the country, and the young people who work sometimes face burdens and pressure. from the side of the government, which is also sometimes added to the deliberate killings of government soldiers.
