The 8th Office of the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency was opened today in Lasaanood, the capital of Sool region.
This center will serve the people living in the areas of SSC Khatumo which has been recognized by the Federal Government as a temporary administration.
SSC leader Khatumo Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw Ali took part in the inauguration of this center and thanked him for the establishment of this office in Lasanood today.
Leader Abduqadir Firdhiye said that the people of Khatumo had a great need to get the service of passport issuance and they used to go outside the areas of SSC Khatumo.
The Somali Immigration and Nationality Agency for its part said that it is focusing on bringing Somali citizens wherever they are to the various services provided by the agency in order to cancel the cost and the long journey that would go out to get the passport service.
