The Somaliland police have accused Osman Omar Dool of the Wadani party, who was recently arrested, of nationalism and war.
A spokesperson for the police said, “He was encouraging the people of Somaliland to oppose the laws and regulations of this country. In his last trip, he was urging the people to fight if he is arrested.”
The police have released videos and articles in which Doll encourages the community to defy the law and to take up guns and fight.
The police also released a video calling on the various forces to make orders and join the Gaanlibah Front.
According to the police, Doll was brought before the court this morning as the prosecution read the charges against him.
Before Dole was arrested at the Igaal Airport in Hargeisa on the 20th of this month, he broadcasted a video on social media calling on the community to fight if he was arrested.
