Officials of the Puntland security forces and the authorities of the Nugaal region today presented weapons and drugs seized in operations in the last few days in Garowe.
The Governor of Nugal Abdirahman Haji Abshir told the media that they cleared the illegal weapons in the hands of the people in Garowe.
The governor said that during the operation, one civilian died and two people were injured.
“Garowe, we arrested the four most famous men who were working on the city’s problems last night,” said Nugal Regional Governor Abdirahman Abshir.
The governor said that the accused who were caught in the operation should be brought before the law.
