Egyptian airlines starting direct flights to Mogadishu in July.

The Somali Ambassador to Egypt and the Permanent Representative of the Arab League, Ambassador Ali Abdi Awaare, welcomed a press release from the Egyptian government announcing that flights to Somalia will be launched on July 11.

The ambassador of Somalia said that this step is to enhance cooperation and cooperation between Somalia and Egypt, saying that this opportunity will be used by the people of both countries.

The EgyptAir airline company in Egypt is scheduled to fly twice a week to Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.

The Egyptian government has said it is keen to start direct flights from Cairo to Mogadishu.

The general manager of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), Ahmed Macallin Hassan, welcomed a delegation from the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority and Egypt Air to Mogadishu.

The trip of the delegation and the purpose of the meetings in Mogadishu, was the beginning of the plan to prepare flights to start from the Aden Abdulle International Airport in the capital of Mogadishu, by Egypt Air.
