The Somali Police forces have been conducting operations for the second week in a row against people who engage in immorality and incitement on social media in and around Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.

A statement issued by the command of the general division of the police force in Banadir region has explained why the police force is arresting and fighting against youths who are involved in bad behavior and tribal issues as part of the government.

“The reason why we are focusing on the fight against immorality is that we believe that building social order is part of the government,” said the news from the Banadir Regional Police Command.

There is also a message from the Police Command in the general part of Banadir region that Somali parents are called to keep an eye on their children to prevent immoral things from being committed by their children.

“Somali parents have a great responsibility for their children, and they must be held accountable and work with the Police Force to stop such acts,” said the news from the Banadir Regional Police Command.

This news from the Banadir Regional Police Command comes as more than 40 men and women have been arrested in Mogadishu prisons for spreading bad behavior, tribalism, public incitement and insults.
