Last night in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, MP Ibrahim Abdi Abdirahman, who was a member of the Parliament of South West Somalia, was killed.
Groups armed with pistols killed the MP who shot him several times in the upper body, causing the MP to die on the spot.
May God have mercy on the deceased, it was said that he was in Mogadishu for work in the past few days, and the president of the South West Administration, Abdicasis Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, condoled his death.
President Laftagareen said that the killing of MP Ibrahim Abdi Abdirahman was behind the Al-Shabaab group, and he said that the MP was one of the people who played a major role in peace, government building and reconciliation issues in the South West.
“I am asking God to make his abode in Jannatul Firdowsa, patience and faith for his family and the general Somali people who passed away. President Laftagareen asked the MP to make his abode in Jannatul Firdowsa for his family, relatives and the general public May God give Samir and Iman to the Somalis,” said the president of the South West Administration, Abdicasis Laftagareen.
