A meeting between the Ministry of Internal Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, the Minister of Security of the regional administrations of the country and the Police Command was opened today in the city of Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug administration.
The conference which opened in Dhusamareb and will last for two days, the parties will discuss important issues related to the general security of the country.
The Minister of Security of the Federal Government, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Faratag, said that the purpose of this meeting is to strengthen the police force at the Federal and State levels.
“Cooperation and cooperation between the Ministries of Security and Police Commands at both levels is important to achieve the security goals of the Nation. Internal Security Strategy Plan, and after the departure of ATMIS. I hope for effective results that will enhance the security and peace of Somalia to come out of this meeting,” said the Minister of Internal Security of the Somali Government, Abdullahi Fartaag.
The meeting which opened in Dhusamareb, the Ministry of Internal Security of Somalia, the Ministries of Security of the Regional Governments and the Police Command is coming up, as at the end of this year the ATMIS forces will leave the country, and the security of the country will be fully taken over by the Somali government forces.
