The Somali National Army Command said its forces have foiled an attack by Al-Shabaab militants on the city of Baidoa, the capital of Bay region.
A statement issued by the Somali National Army Command said that the forces repelled the attack, and have been making efforts to ensure security and stability in Baidoa for some time.
The command said that the Somali National Army forces were fully alert to the attack, and resisted the attackers, who, according to the statement, suffered losses and losses of life and property.
