The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, held a private meeting today with the German Ambassador to Somalia, Sebastian Groth, at his office in Mogadishu.
A statement from Prime Minister Hamse’s office said that the meeting focused on strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries, Somalia and Germany.

Hamse Abdi Barre thanked the German government for its continued support to the federal government and the Somali people, noting the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the two governments.
The German Ambassador to Somalia, Sebastian Groth, said that the two countries share a deep friendship, and stressed that his country is committed to further strengthening cooperation with Somalia in order to achieve common goals for the development of Somalia.
