Youth and Sports Development in Partnership between the Governments of Somalia and Jordan.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Abdulqadir Ali, participated in the launch of the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security in Amman, Jordan.

This important event, which was attended by ministers and officials from Arab countries, analyzed the role of youth in peacebuilding and development in the countries of the region.

Minister Mohamed Abdulqadir also held a special meeting with his Jordanian counterpart, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Yazan Shdeifat. The two ministers discussed strengthening relations between the two countries, with a special focus on cooperation in youth development and sports.

During the meeting, Minister Yazan Shdeifat said that this year Amman was chosen as the Arab Youth Capital, noting the efforts of his government in hosting and supporting youth programs in the region.

For his part, Minister Mohamed Abdulqadir Ali thanked his Jordanian counterpart and the Jordanian government for the warm welcome they gave him and his delegation. He praised the prominent role that the Jordanian Ministry of Youth and Sports is playing in empowering and developing Arab youth.
