Some of the MPs from both houses of parliament from the South West and Manshiil regions, politicians from the South West who met in Mogadishu yesterday, spoke strongly about the political situation in the South West.
The meeting was attended by officials including former South West President Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden, former Speaker of the House of the People Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman and other officials who have previously held positions
These officials also described it as a great misfortune that the South West House of Representatives, whose term has ended, is now holding new elections.
A press release issued from the meeting stated that what is happening in the South West under President Abdiasis Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen is against the law and governance.
