The army of the country with the help of the local people has arrested a foreigner who was fighting alongside the Al-Shabaab group in Berayabaal area.
The foreigner who was captured by the army is an Ethiopian from the Oromo tribe, whose body parts are tattooed with the tattoo symbol, which is one of the pagan symbols.
“Khawarij militias often use people who have committed crimes from their countries of origin and this man is one of them,” said an army officer who spoke to the National Media.
The arrest of this man came after operations that followed a war two days ago in Berayabaal area, one of the areas under Buulaburte district in Hiran region.
Finally, the eastern region of Hiraan is the only place where Al-Shabaab has been defeated since it started operations against Al-Shabaab at the end of last year in 2023, compared to other regions of the country where the group is strongest.
