The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has announced that severe punishment will be meted out to anyone who makes contact with a Shabaab person, even if they are family members or relatives.
President Hassan Sheikh said that it is a crime to deal with people who are members of the Al-Shabaab group, and warned the Somali people not to deal with Al-Shabaab.
“I can’t call someone from Al-Shabaab, and you can’t call them, it’s a crime, know that. If a person is found to have called someone who is in Al-Shabaab or has made contact with him, he will be brought before the court. It’s a secret, everyone should know” he said. said President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The President of Somalia said this step is to strengthen the law against Al-Shabaab, and he also said that all the areas liberated from Al-Shabaab are still in the hands of the government and not a single area has returned to the group.
“One district that has been freed from terrorism and has been recaptured by the Somali people, don’t be lied to, the Khawarij are powerless, the areas that have been liberated from the government forces and the locals are in control,” said President Hassan Sheikh.
This new decision announced by the President of the Federal Government of Somalia comes after the government has already banned dealing with Al-Shabaab, and this step is to strengthen the order that no dealings can be made with Al-Shabaab.
