Reports from Galgaduud region say that three children of siblings have died in a landmine explosion in an area under the city of Xeraale.
It was said that the children of the deceased siblings were playing with the mine before it exploded, and the children were two boys and a girl, the oldest of whom was said to be six years old.
Two of the children died on the spot, while one of them was seriously injured, but he died hours later at the hospital in Heraale, Galgaduud region.
Such incidents have happened many times in some parts of the country, and many children and other people have lost their lives due to the explosion of these mines, while many people are also disabled in these mine explosions.
