The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Hamse Abdi Barre and his delegation attended the South Korea-Africa summit in Seoul, South Korea which was officially opened recently.

The summit, which opened for South Korea and African leaders, will last for two days, in which the parties will focus on the existing relationship between South Korea and Africa.

Both sides will also discuss how to have a strong cooperation in business matters, economic infrastructure development and the impact of climate change on the African continent.

The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, is scheduled to deliver a critical speech at the conference this afternoon, in which he will discuss many issues, including the investment opportunities in Somalia and the government’s efforts in the areas of security, economy and social affairs.

Hamse Abdi Barre, during his stay in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, will hold separate meetings with the leaders participating in the conference and will discuss the general situation in Somalia.
