Reports from the South of Mudug state that government forces and local residents have left the town of Bacadweyn.
Collaborating forces are reported to have vacated their positions in Badaweyn town in Mudug region in the early hours of today.
Some of the people living in Bacadweyn told the media that they once saw the army taking their equipment from the city.
The reports added that the troops who left the city of Bacadweyn in the South of Mudug region have gathered in the area of Laas Gacamey which is not far from Bacadweyn.
It was a few days ago when the government forces and the local people left the areas of Aad, Amara and Shabellow, and after their departure, the Al-Shabaab group returned to these areas.
However, the area of Mudug where the allied forces left, many soldiers and officers were killed in their previous capture, and now they have easily been recaptured by Al-Shabaab.
