The Banadir regional court has today announced the time for the hearing of the case against the man accused of burning his wife Luul Abdicasis in Mogadishu.

A written statement issued by the Banadir Regional Court instructed the CID Assistant Criminal Investigation Department to bring the accused before the Court on the 21st of this month, which is on Wednesday, when the hearing of the accused Ali Macalin Daoud’s case will begin.

The case of this accused is in the eyes of the Somali people who are angry about the act of burning Luul Abdicasis who was pregnant.

The suspect was recently arrested in Mudug state and he escaped, where he was planning to escape and take a boat from Hobyo town in Mudug state.

However, it is worth noting that Luul Abdicasis has not yet been buried and her body is still in Firinjeer, as the relatives of the girl who was cremated said that Luul and the man who killed her will be buried at the same time.
