The president of the South West administration, Abdicasis Hassan Mohamed (Lafta Gareen) has opened the second phase of the war against the Al-Shabaab group, which is to liberate the areas of his administration.
President Abdicasis Lafta Gareen said that they are committed to freeing Al-Shabaab from the Southwest. He also said that they are ready.
Lafta Gareen said the first phase of the operation against Al-Shabaab will be completed this week, and the government will close the liberation of Elbur and Galhareeri.
“We have decided to clear the South West from the Khawarij and the 2nd phase of the war has started,” said Lafta Gareen.
The South West is one of the areas where the Al-Shabaab group is strong, as a result of which it is not possible to travel to these areas by land because the Al-Shabaab are in the rural areas that connect the cities.
Recently, candidates for the South West administration accused President Lafta Gareen of not being honest in the fight against al-Shabaab, instead he started imposing sanctions on anyone who opposes his administration.
