The Federal Government of Somalia has released the names of Al-Shabaab leaders who were killed and wounded in the recent fighting in Galmudug and Hirshabeelle areas as well as those who escaped.
A press release from the Federal Government of Somalia stated that the operations against Al Shabaab in the past two months in Hirshabeelle and Galmudug areas have killed 1650 members of the Al Shabaab group and injured more than 550 members.
The news from the government also said that in the last two months, the Al-Shabaab group has been severely defeated and 19 leaders have been killed.

The leaders who were killed and those who were injured in the bombings and direct battles that took place in the state of Galmudug, the names and positions:
1. Leader Khalif Gambe is injured, he was the top leader of the Khawarij rebels in Galmudug.
