Kenya’s Defense Minister Aden Barre Duale said that the Kenyan government will target individuals who fund Al-Shabaab anywhere.
The Minister of Defense of Kenya said that the Al-Shabaab group has increased their activities in Kenya, saying that they will be defeated against the groups that hinder the security of Kenya.
“We will hunt terrorists even in Somalia. We will deal with you inside and outside our country,” said Aden Duale.
Duale insisted that the security forces are working hard to defeat the militants and also to target their financiers.
He said that the United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin promised that the Kenyan Government would support the fight against terrorism in the country and the region during his recent visit to the country.
“He was here for two days. We share intelligence, we work together in the country, the region and the Horn of Africa to resolutely prevent terrorist infrastructure,” added Duale.
