Ethiopian forces in Dinsoor district of Bay region hit Al-Shabaab bases with artillery.

The Ethiopian troops who are part of the African Union’s ATMIS mission are reported to have hit areas in the Bay region where Al-Shabaab are located.

Residents of Dinsoor town said that they heard several explosions in Dinsoor district. The attack came after Al-Shabaab attempted an attack.

The areas on the outskirts of Dinsoor district are under the control of Al-Shabaab, and the villages and villages under the district have been besieged by the Ethiopian and XDS forces.

In the middle of this month, Al-Shabaab attacked a convoy of Ethiopian troops in the Bakool region of Southwest Somalia, according to Somali officials. Several soldiers were killed in the attack.

Al-Shabaab said in a statement that they killed 167 Ethiopian soldiers, destroyed military vehicles, and seized weapons and other equipment.
