Two opposing administrations were elected in Bosaso, the capital of Bari region, which shows the political conflict in Puntland elections.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Puntland, Abdi Faah Saeed Juha opposed the two elections that were held between the governor and the deputy of Bosaso, while the minister of union in his ministry was in charge of the election held in Bosaso.

“Bosaso has not been established as a regional council, and no council has been elected. Neither of the two elections that have taken place are in accordance with the procedures that we have established. What I am officially saying is that Bosaso has not been established as a regional council. We will consult with each other and make another decision. said Minister Juxa.

Minister Juxa said that the Bosaso area council elections can be held when at least 22 members of the area council are seated. He said that the two elections that took place yesterday were between 16 members and 16 members.

The opposition parties accused President Deni of boycotting the districts where the majority of votes were won by his party, saying that the rules for the election of local councils had been changed.
