The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, said that the government of Somalia stands by Puntland’s fight against ISIS.
President Hassan Sheikh, who was delivering a speech at the opening of the Somali Parliament Session, said that the government of Somalia has an obligation to stand by Puntland, saying that they stand by each other.
Hassan Sheikh said that soon a committee will be appointed to support Puntland, so that the aid of the Somali government can be delivered to the areas of Puntland where the war against Daesh is going on.
“We stand by the Puntland Army and its people who have raised the threat of Daesh. It is a just war. DFS appoints a committee in charge of Puntland’s support,” said President Hassan Sheikh.
President Hassan Sheikh’s statement comes to an end, as recently the president of Puntland said that they welcome anyone who supports Puntland’s fight against Daesh.
