The Ethiopian government has spoken for the first time about weapons that have recently been placed in Somalia, which have been placed on the Somali side of the border with Ethiopia.

A spokesman for the Ethiopian government named Nebiyu Tedla told the media that the issue of these weapons has nothing to do with Ethiopia and that it is the responsibility of the Somali government that has the authority to manage weapons, manage them and distribute them.

On the other hand, the speaker who was asked by the media whether the government of Ethiopia sold these weapons to the government of Somalia, or private businessmen were sold these weapons, he refused to answer that.

These weapons, which were brought into Somalia a few days ago, especially Abudwaq, according to the media, were taken from military bases in the town of Godey in the Somali Regional Government.

The Government of Somalia and the Galmudug Regional Government, who spoke about the issue of these weapons, said that these weapons were brought into the country by businessmen who work in illegal activities.

People have been questioning why the Ethiopian government has refused to give details about the weapons brought into Somalia from the Ethiopian side.
