There are more reports of the killing of a Somali police officer in Mogadishu last night.
The officer who was killed was named Adan Omar Ahmed, known as Adan Biit, who was killed in a restaurant near the Bulusiya school campus, which is one of the most heavily guarded areas.
The officer was killed by a man armed with a pistol, who shot the deceased several times and quickly escaped from the scene.
Security forces arrived at the scene where the officer was killed and conducted an investigation, but no arrests have been made.
