Reports reaching Garowe, Puntland’s administrative center, say that men dressed in security uniforms gang-raped a 13-year-old girl who was one of the displaced people.
According to the media in Puntland and witnesses, this action took place before the morning prayer in a displacement camp called Jingada.
A group behind this action took the girl out of her house.
Her family and the residents of Jingada neighborhood who tried to stop the girl, were threatened with gori and raped in front of them.
People in the neighborhood told us that the girl’s mother died a year ago after being shot by a group of drunkards.
Security agencies have not yet commented on this action.
