Hirshabelle President Ali Guudlawe has made changes to his Cabinet.

The President of Hirshabelle, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlawe), has issued a decree from his office making major changes to some of the state’s Cabinet.

The presidential decree is based on Articles 56 and 57 of the Hirshabelle Constitution, which allow the President to appoint or replace members of the Cabinet when there is a need for work or efficiency.

The change affects four key ministries, namely Labor and Social Affairs, Energy and Water Resources, Information, Culture and Tourism, and Finance & Economic Development.

The President appointed the following new ministers: Bashi Abdi Mohamed, who has been appointed as Minister of Labor & Social Affairs, and Saleh Mohamed Hassan, who will become Minister of Energy & Water Resources.

Also appointed were Abdikarim Nur Hassan (Doob-yare) as Minister of State for the Ministry of Information, Culture & Tourism and Omar Mohamed Soomane as Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Finance & Economic Development.

This change was said to be part of efforts to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of the Hirshabelle Cabinet, in order to accelerate social services and develop governance.
