Turkish Ambassador and Favori Company Leaders Discuss Development of Aden Adde Airport with Prime Minister Hamzeh.

The Prime Minister of the Government of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, today held an important meeting with the Ambassador of the Turkish Government to Somalia, Alper Aktaş, and the senior management of Favori Company, which manages Aden Abdulle International Airport in Mogadishu.

During the meeting, the head of Favori Company gave the Prime Minister a detailed briefing on the new plans that the company intends to develop services at the airport. He indicated that extensive changes are planned in terms of services and buildings, so that Aden Abdulle Airport is in line with international standards of airports around the world.

The Prime Minister praised the efforts and cooperation of the company in developing the airport, noting that Aden Abdulle Airport is the most important gateway to the country, and therefore needs to be modernized and expanded to make it competitive with international airports.

Hamsa Abdi Barre also praised the strong relationship and historical brotherhood between Somalia and Turkey, thanking the Turkish Government for its significant role in the reconstruction and development of essential services in Somalia.

The meeting was part of the Federal Government of Somalia’s efforts to develop the country’s economic infrastructure and essential services.
