The Prime Minister of the Government of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, has officially appointed the Directors General of two of the ministries that are crucial to the country’s development.
A circular issued by the Prime Minister’s Office has appointed Farah Abdinur Ahmed – Director General of the Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction and Housing, and Mahdi Sheikh Abdullahi Omar – Director General of the Ministry of Communications and Technology of Somalia.
These appointments are part of the efforts of the Government of Prime Minister Hamsa to strengthen the efficiency, work processes and accelerate the activities of government ministries.
The two appointed officials have the experience and knowledge that will enable them to lead new leadership and direction to their ministries, at a time when the country is facing a great need for economic infrastructure construction and the development of communications and technology.
These new directors are expected to take up their positions immediately and come up with effective plans to improve the services provided by their ministries.
