The Second Deputy Speaker of the Somali Senate, Senator Abdullahi Timacadde, said that the Somali President and his Prime Minister will attend the inauguration of the president of the Northeastern Somali administration.
The Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate praised the Federal Government of Somalia for playing a major role in bringing the Sool, Sanaag and Buuhoodle regions out of the difficult circumstances they were in, saying that the President and the Prime Minister have fulfilled their national responsibility and duty to protect the unity of the country.
Senator Timacadde said that members of the two houses elected from Sool, Sanaag and Cayn will unite to advocate for the new administration of the Northeastern Somali region to stand on its feet. He said that the previous divisions between politicians representing the two regions in the Federal Government of Somalia will be eliminated.
