In a press release from the Office of the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, it was announced that the meeting of the National Consultative Council in Mogadishu, which has been on hiatus these days, will meet again on the 26th of October.

The news from the Prime Minister’s Office also said that the leaders are still continuing the discussions regarding the strengthening of the general cooperation between the Federal Government and the regional governments of the country, in order to ensure peace and development.

“The Heads of State focused on the general security situation of the country, especially on how to accelerate the fight to eliminate the Khawarij groups, complete the democratization process, and implement the previous agreements of the National Consultative Council. These consultations will continue, with the return of 26 – this October” said the statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.

This press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, which was announced during the meeting of the leaders of the National Consultative Council, is coming, as the President of Jubbaland, Ahmed Madobe, has left the meeting and has openly opposed the implementation of elections by person and vote, and that Puntland should be absent from the meetings of the Consultative Council. .
