Today it is planned to hold a national funeral in Mogadishu for the former Speaker of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari.
The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, has appointed the National Funeral Committee for the former Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Prof. Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari.
This committee, which consists of 12 members who are all officials of the federal government, is working on the national funeral for the deceased.
The late Jawari passed away yesterday evening at his residence in Mogadishu, and it is planned to pray the funeral prayer at the Islamic Union Mosque.
The funeral prayer for the deceased will be attended by the highest leaders of the country, various officials of government agencies, politicians and other sections of society.
May Allah have mercy on the former Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, was born in 1945, in Afgoye district of the Lower Shabelle.
