The former Speaker of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Prof. Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, passed away recently in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
The deceased was said to have been ill for the past few days and he died of that illness, although we have not yet disclosed the illness of Prof Jawari.
Officials of the Federal Government of Somalia, politicians and various sections of the society have condoled the death of Governor Jawari which is widely felt in the social media.
Among the leaders who have condoled the death of the late Jawari is the Prime Minister of the Somali Government, Hamse Abdi Barre, the president of South West Abdicasis Laftagareen, who prayed to God to shower his mercy on the deceased.
May God have mercy on Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, who passed away at the age of 79 years.
