The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held a special meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed Binu Salman Binu Abdaziz.
The two leaders discussed in their meeting the strengthening of cooperation and the traditional relationship between the two countries of Somalia and Saudi Arabia and the issues of economy, investment, trade, defense and security, independence.
The two officials also discussed the situation in the region, especially the illegal agreement Ethiopia entered into with the Somaliland administration at the beginning of this year.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia described the agreement between Ethiopia and Somaliland as an offense to the unity and territorial independence of Somalia as well as the good neighborliness and stability of the region.
This meeting between the President of Somalia and the heir of Saudi Arabia is coming, as the President went to Saudi Arabia to spend his life, and the President is accompanied by other officials of the Federal Government of Somalia.
