The countries of Somalia and Egypt are expected to sign a military agreement today

The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, received the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today at the Presidential Palace and discussed how to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and the situation in the region.

The spokesman of the Egyptian presidency said in a statement that the two leaders discussed how to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and how to improve the situation in the region.

There are reports that both Somalia and Egypt are signing a military agreement.

The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh and the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, are expected to appear together today after their meeting.

President Hassan Sheikh’s delegation includes several officials including the Minister of Defence.

The Egyptian government is one of the countries that opposed the agreement between Ethiopia and Somaliland, saying that it stands by the protection of the territorial independence of Somalia.

Egypt and Ethiopia have been at odds over the use of the Nile River for some time now.
