The Deputy Commander of the Somali National Infantry, General Abdullahi Aden Hussein Iro, who spoke about the operations against the Al-Shabaab group, called on the Somali people to stay away from the places where Al-Shabaab is located.
General Iro said that the different parts of the armed forces and the local ones are ready to eradicate Al-Shabaab, and people need to stay away from Al-Shabaab centers so that they don’t get harmed.

The commander also mentioned that the group remains in a small area where they are hiding and the army is following them wherever they go.
The statement made by the Deputy Commander of the Somali National Army, General Iro, comes on the heels of this week’s attack by members of Al-Shabaab in Galgaduud region, killing civilians.
