The Somali police with the help of the International Police Interpol last night in Mogadishu arrested Zakariy Ali Ahmed Cosobow who is accused of killing two stars Ali Hassan Siad who were members of the Somali Police.
The spokesperson of the Somali Police, Sadiq Aden Ali Doodishe, said that the suspect committed a murder in Deniile district on July 27 last year, 2022.
“The plane carrying the accused Sakarie Ali Ahmed Cosobow arrived in Mogadishu, on July 27, 2022 he killed the late Ali Hassan Siyad (Ali Tareen) and then escaped to South Sudan. made it possible for the suspect to be arrested and handed over to the South Sudan Police,” said the Somali Police Spokesperson.
The police spokesman also said that the accused Zakariye’s case was taken over by the prosecution of the Armed Forces Court.
“The aim was that anyone who commits such a crime in the country can be arrested from anywhere,” said Speaker Doodishe.
The Somali police said in this action that it is enough of an example for those who commit crimes who flee the country that they will be caught wherever they go.
