Reports from Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, say that the Somali embassy in the country has been attacked by armed forces and looted.

Some of the Sudanese media reported that the armed forces entered the building of the Somali Embassy in Sudan, which consists of three floors, and the armed forces took all the equipment from the embassy.

Somalia’s ambassador to Sudan, Mohamed Sheikh Isaac, who spoke to the Somali language branch of the BBC, said that neighbors of the embassy confirmed the news that armed forces entered the embassy building and looted the equipment in the Somali embassy in Sudan. .

“We were told that they broke the front and back doors of the embassy. They also entered the basement where there were offices and a small library. But they did not find anything to take,” said Somalia’s ambassador to Sudan, Mohamed Sheikh Isaac.

Ambassador Mohamed Sheikh Ishaq also said that the group lost the things they wanted, among them, according to the ambassador, money, gold and other important equipment.

“They only took a car that was parked in front of the embassy and belonged to other people. They did not enter the upper half of my office,” added Ambassador Mohamed Sheikh Ishaq.

The location of the Somali Embassy in Khartoum includes the embassies of Kenya, Djibouti, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Libya and Eritrea.

“We condemn that a center with its immunity is attacked. The person who exposes it is a person who has violated it, and it is illegal to enter and abuse it,” said Ambassador Mohamed Sheikh Ishaq.
