The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Acting President Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobobe) today received the Italian Ambassador Amb. Alberto Vecchi.
The meeting between the Governor and the Italian ambassador discussed the historical relationship between the two countries. The Ambassador conveyed a message from the Parliament of his country regarding the cooperation between the two parliaments, assuring that Somalia will work with them on debt relief and important laws for the country that are required from the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
Governor Sheikh Adan Madobe thanked the Italian Government for supporting the Somali Government and how they are participating in the fight against terrorism and debt relief, and noted that the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Italian Parliament will have good relations soon.
