More reports are coming out of a fierce battle that took place early this morning in Shabeellow area of \u200b\u200bMudug region between government forces and Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n

The battle came after members of the Al-Shabaab group launched a strong attack and bombed the positions of the government forces and those of the local people in Shabeelow.<\/p>\n

A statement issued by the Federal Government said that the Al-Shabaab attack was prevented by the armed forces and the local people known as Mawisleyda, and the group was heavily defeated.<\/p>\n
