The government of Somalia has welcomed the recent decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that it has the power to investigate the massacre committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n

The government of Somalia described this decision as an important step taken to account for the atrocities against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

“Somalia stands to demand the immediate implementation of interim measures to protect the rights and well-being of Palestinians, with the primary focus being on stopping Israel’s heinous acts of destroying the livelihoods of its people.” innocent,” said a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia.<\/p>\n

The Somali government has called for an urgent ceasefire in Gaza to prevent further loss of innocent civilian lives.<\/p>\n

It underscored the necessity for Israel to stop all kinds of brutal abuses against Palestinians, and follow the steps outlined in the ICJ decision.<\/p>\n

The government of Somalia remains committed to supporting the Palestinian people, and said it will continue to advocate for peace, justice, and the realization of their basic rights on the international stage.<\/p>\n
